“A Black Woman Sketch Present’s” Lauren Ashley Smith is creating a household comedy for ABC. The community received the venture, titled “Moore & Moore,” in a “aggressive state of affairs,” per Deadline.
A single-camera comedy, “Moore & Moore” follows “a close-knit group of mostly-gay sisters who’ve a familial id disaster when the lone bi sister brings her male fiancé into the household.”
Smith served head author and co-executive producer for the primary two seasons of HBO’s “A Black Woman Sketch Present,” Robin Thede’s Emmy-winning sketch comedy collection. She beforehand collaborated with Thede on BET’s “The Rundown with Robin Thede,” which she served as head author on.
Alongside along with her sisters Rachel and Mariah, Smith co-hosts a popular culture radio present, “Smith Sisters Dwell,” on SiriusXM channel Radio Andy.
