Cops have been responding to a name for assist in South Los Angeles on Sunday when a person driving a sedan plowed into their patrol automobile, injuring them each.
The incident started round 5 p.m. as gang officers responded to a request for backup on a report of a person seen with a gun close to Hillcrest Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Crenshaw, in line with the Los Angeles Police Division.

Jose Nicholas Lopez, 21, of Los Angeles was arrested on the scene on suspicion of assault with a lethal weapon on a police officer.
