STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi State coach Mike Leach was taken to a hospital Sunday after what the college referred to as “a private well being subject” that occurred at his dwelling in Starkville.
Leach, 61, was taken by ambulance to the College of Mississippi Medical Heart in Jackson, which is about 125 miles (200 kilometers) away from Mississippi State, the college stated in an announcement.
The college stated it will don’t have any additional touch upon Leach’s situation, including “that the ideas and prayers of the college are with Mike and (spouse) Sharon and their household.”
