“She Stated” will make its world premiere on the 2022 New York Movie Pageant. From Emmy-winning “Unorthodox” helmer Maria Schrader, the drama revisits how New York Occasions reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey broke the 2017 Harvey Weinstein story that rocked Hollywood and past, bringing Tarana Burke’s #MeToo motion to the mainstream and kickstarting conversations about sexual assault, consent, and office harassment.
Starring Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan, the pic is predicated on Kantor and Twohey’s guide of the identical title. Rebecca Lenkiewicz (“Ida”) penned the difference.
“She Stated” is screening in NYFF’s Highlight part.
