Elisabeth Moss squares off in opposition to Yvonne Strahovski in a brand new teaser for “The Handmaid’s Story.” The dystopian drama’s upcoming fifth season will mark its first since Roe v. Wade was overturned, making Gilead and its horrors all of the extra chilling.
As June (Moss) faces penalties for killing Commander Waterford, she stays fixated on Serena (Strahovski). “You simply gotta neglect about her,” Luke (O-T Fagbenle) insists. However June can’t. She’s disgusted to see her former tormentor enjoying “the grieving spouse” whereas “she is aware of the world is watching.” June confesses, “I really feel Gilead pulling me again.”
In line with a synopsis from Hulu, this season will see Serena making an attempt “to boost her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s affect creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence [Bradley Whitford] works with Nick [Max Minghella] and Aunt Lydia [Ann Dowd] as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in energy. June, Luke, and Moira [Samira Wiley] struggle Gilead from a distance as they proceed their mission to save lots of and reunite with Hannah [Jordana Blake].”
“The Handmaid’s Story” returns to Hulu September 14.
