The fast-moving Oak fireplace close to Yosemite Nationwide Park grew to 9,500 acres by Saturday afternoon. The hearth, which began round 2 p.m. Friday, was 0% contained as of midday Saturday, in response to the California Division of Forestry and Fireplace Safety. The blaze has destroyed 10 buildings and is threatening 2,000 extra.
