“You’ve got to have the ability to not look again,” 25-year-old Freddie (Park Ji-Min) is advised in a brand new trailer for “Return to Seoul.” Cambodia’s submission to the Worldwide Characteristic Oscar race sees Freddie returning to her beginning nation, South Korea, for the primary time. The adoptee was raised in France and is aware of little about Korea.
Reluctant to open up, Freddie finally admits that she does a variety of wanting again. “I all the time ask myself the identical query on my birthday: is my mom fascinated about me?” she confesses. She appears conflicted about whether or not to rearrange a gathering along with her beginning mom throughout her journey.
“Return to Seoul” hits theaters December 2 for a one-week run. It opens February 17 in NY and LA.
